1. Desired staff position: Server Support/Forum Moderator, 2. Your name (first name would suffice): Blake, 3. Your age: 22-23, 4. Your timezone: GMT +10, Australia, 5. Average amount of gameplay hours per day: 4-10 depending on work, university and covid-19, 6. Why you should receive the position: As a former staff member of well over a year, I have extensive experience with everything that comes with being a staff member, from the ticketing system, staff commands and forum powers, etc. Only lacking in areas that were added after my departure, such as the testing worlds. I also have extensive experience with Runex itself, given my preferred mode of prime ironman, I get to experience a lot of content that most people will skip over or miss. 7. What would I strive for as staff: [Added by myself] Those who know me know that I genuinely love Runex and it's community and I really want to see the game and it's players thriving and happy. This means making sure updates are as polished as possible, that events are held regularly, that player suggestions can get genuine feedback from developers and that no-one feels like they can't come to you for help. I would start with the forums, cleaning up the less tended to areas and continuing my old work cataloguing and testing all bugs for the developers. I would also make sure to respond to all posts to attempt to drive up interaction with the forums. I'm not sure how the testing worlds work, or what the limitations are, but I think everyone knows how anal I am about the smallest things, so hopefully I can prevent some of the less noticeable issues making it past the testing phase. I'd also love to convince Ryan to open up the testing worlds to some veterans for their input as well. 8. Why I shouldn't be staff: [Added by myself] A lot of the community wont know, but I was actually demoted from the staff team a while ago during a pretty combative era in our community focused around 2 clans that also split the staff team. I won't beat around the bush, I abused a player by banning them from the discord twice, though I did it to show how unfair other players previously were treated, I abused none the less. I was also very disrespectful to my fellow staff and towards the administrators, my demotion was fair. Since this period, I've stuck around on the server, and I've grown a lot. Making peace with the majority of the 'other side' and a lot of the staff members that I once disrespected. I think I've grown a lot and I hope everyone that remembers how I acted back then can agree. I can't say I wont stick to my guns as I used to back then, but I'll be a lot more respectful and follow the chain of command. Thank you for the feedback everyone, Since the creation of the Suggestion Squad I've taken a step back from trying to get on the staff team since the SS is a position I much prefer, being able to help shape the future of Runex and create meaningful content without being a ticket bitch. I may re-apply in the future If space opens up, but for now I'll be expiring my application. Thank you again for the support and feedback.

Very happy to see this update, I've wanted Runex to steer away from the AFKscape it became but always knew even slight changes would cause an uproar, thanks for the hard work. Also, First.

I'm just pointing out that past and present staff, as well as successful applicants have, for the most part, said and done worse than calling someone braindead. Context is also important, which is why I brought up the cropped images, because your name can clearly be seen in one of them. I guess no-one is good enough to be staff though, if braindead is 'excessive' and in need to 'restrain himself'.

I support giving Noah a trial position, quite helpful and has been around for a while, not to mention hasn't really been involved in any issues that come to mind. Also, @Alive, From the looks of the cropped screenshots you replied with, Noah was arguing with you. If you are going to post screenshots of someone to discredit them, why crop out the things you said? Not to mention, most staff past and present, including James, have said worse things than calling people braindead or delusional

I 100% agree, this has always been my view on it, however, no-one supported it.

I'm the reason the price to skip and block was increased in the first place. Slayer points on OSRS are also much more important than on Runex and take more time to obtain, especially compared to Runex points. If the cost to skip a task on Runex was increased to match the weight of an OSRS skip, I would support it not ending your streak.

I might be wrong, as I don't do too many boss tasks. But I believe the only wilderness boss task in regular boss tasks is chaos elemental. But that being said, the whole point of slayer streaks is doing tasks you might not always do, being rewarded for not just farming a single task etc. So any type of skipping or blocking should cancel your streak. Players were previously able to abuse the block mechanic to avoid losing their streak with little cost.

Hey man, just a few tips. Try and fluff your application a little bit as the small extra effort goes a long way and is noticable. Also, with this application, you have 2 post count, which points out that you aren't very active on the forums, try and make some suggestions or reply to other players to boost it a little. Lastly, you seem to have cut off some of your final paragraph, Id fix that up before most people see it. Good luck.

Nice updates @Ryan Quick question about the increase Kourend instance spawns on task. How does this work exactly? I'm testing a greater nechyrael task and there is still only 2 spawns. Could this be because they are Greater Nechyraels. but the task is Nechyraels [Kourend]? Cheers.
